About Signal
We were named for the hardest part
of the job.
In any law firm there is an enormous amount of noise – vendors, trends, urgent fires, competing advice. Buried in it is the signal: the few things that actually move the firm forward. Finding it, and acting on it, is the whole job. It’s also where we got our name.
Why we exist
Most firms don’t have a technology problem. They have a noise problem.
Every vendor has an answer before they understand the question. Every conference has a louder trend than the last. Meanwhile the work that actually matters – getting the foundation right, deploying what fits, moving the firm up the curve – gets drowned out. We started Signal to be the people who cut through that: who tell a firm the truth about where it stands and what’s worth doing.
What we believe
Who we are
Senior people who have done this before – across firms and across industries
Signal isn’t junior staff learning on your matters. You work with senior technology and security leaders who have run these functions at the firm level and deployed them across legal and beyond. That range matters: in-house teams see one firm’s way of doing things, while we bring the pattern recognition that only comes from doing this many times, in many environments.
